Master Plan

On 23 April 2021 the Amur Region government and ABS (a joint venture of Airports of Regions MC and Novaport Holding) signed a concession agreement on the development of Blagoveshchensk international airport for the term of 30 years. The modernization project includes the construction of a new 21,000-sqm passenger terminal having the capacity of at least 600 passengers per hour along with the accompanying infrastructure. The new passenger terminal providing services for domestic and international flights will be equipped with three boarding bridges and a comfortable business lounge. The parking area near the airport terminal will be expanded to 600 parking slots. ABS also invests in the construction of a new cargo terminal with the capacity of at least 6,000 tons per year. The total investment in the project will exceed 7 billion rubles.
